Bryce Benge leads the research and technical analysis for EcoLogistics, LLC. Benge collaborated on the development of the EcoMethod, which included an in-depth survey of GHG reduction protocol and life cycle analysis methodologies. He has been an integral part of the carbon measurement, analysis, and GHG reduction assertions at EcoLogistics, LLC.
By incorporating 7 years of construction project management experience, Benge has developed new best management practices for GHG reductions, specific GHG reduction strategies for scope 2 and 3 emissions, and detailed alternatives analyses protocol for construction design and sourcing processes. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Benge has successfully managed three LEED Gold Certified buildings and one LEED Gold Certified Commercial Interiors project.
Since joining Birtcher in 2007, Benge has had been able to capitalize on his construction management and design experience through notable projects and system development such as the following: co-development of the EcoMethod, a project based GHG reduction system for construction projects, Junction City Prison Structural Fill GHG assessment and alternatives analysis, four LEED Gold Certified Projects, SW Market St. & SW Clay St. Re-Construction Project – PBOT and NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Streetscape and Improvements – PBOT.
Benge is a member of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council and the Living Building Challenge Community. Benge has managed multiple transportation-specific construction projects with the City of Portland Bureau of Transportation. Benge is a University of Oregon graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
